PEMBANGKIT LISTRIK BERTENAGA ANGIN
Energi angin merupakan sumber daya terbarukan yang sangat potensial untuk dikembangkan di Indonesia. Dengan wilayah yang dinominasi oleh perbukitan dan dataran rendah, serta iklim yang berpriodik tentunya akan memberikan laju kecepatan angin yang stabil dan tinggi. Di wilayah nusa tenggara, aceh dan beberapa wilayah di tanah jawa memiliki laju kecepatan angin 3 - 9 m/s yang mampu menghasilkan listrik dengan kapasitas hingga mencapai 1000 watt. Jika di asumsi luas area yang dibutuhkan untuk menghasilkan pembangkit listrik bertenaga angin hanya 1 hektar, artinya dapat dibangkitkan listrik 30 MW. Energi ini jauh lebih efektif jika dibandingkan dengan penggunaan solar sell yang membutuhkan kapasitas baterai ekstra dibanding baterai solar sell yang hanya mampu dioperasikan dan menghasilkan energi pada siang hari.
